You have heard it said , DD coils do better in mineralized ground , well hear is a test i took the 7" DD wich has less winding , and put it up against the 8" concentric and put a U,S dime at a good depth but gettable for shure 5" deep the dirt road is composed of class 5 gravle and it is loaded with basalt and magnetite , and it looks like the DD did do better in this ground , so dont throw away your DD coils , but dont throw away the concentric they are both good coils just use them whear they are strong and you will be doing good , Gunnar spencer brook MN[video]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1sPHI2Dalpc[/video]
