bad weekend:thumbdown:

it all started when i went to check in at the campground with the "wealthy beach" and the lady said to me its ok to hunt the beach NOT the water. needless to say i cancelled that trip got my refund and went 2 miles away to a private campground where i have hunted the water many times so i knew the finds were gonna be meager. only hunted saturday morning because the sky was looking pretty scary. then later that night i had a health problem that kept me laying down the rest of the trip.
6 nickles,1 token, the green coins on the side were found at the campsite. they are 1 saq. dollar coin,4 quarters,1 nickle,1 dime.
the cross earing is 925 with a stone the round earing is 925, the star of david has no mark but looks like the real deal, the half of whatever it was looks real also. the long thing is the backing to an earing and yes the tiger even rang out loud on the other small backing to an earring

Gary a couple of things for you to think about. 1st, if the 1st beach area is accessable by boat and the lake is public, you can pull right up there, like you own the place, anchor and step off the boat and hunt there, in the water. Probably the reason she says you cannot hunt the water, is she or someone she knows hunts it themselves! As long as you do not step on the land, you are not trespassing, at least that's how it works in Texas, check it out.

The items that look gold can be tested with a gold acid test kit and they are available through your local jeweler. Hard to get mail order, as the material is hazardous. If you choose to refine your finds, then the items in question can be sent to Midwest and they will test them, with full stength nitric acid and determine their authenticity. I always ask them to return any items they do not believe are silver or gold along with my refined bars. I had several items in my batches that were not marked, but acid tested by me and they were accepted.

Looks like you have some nice bar material there mate! GH

Sorry to hear you couldn't get into the water. Bummer! What was her reasoning? Is it because they're still swimming? I hope you're feeling better!
