All opinion's are mine, based on my findings, your results may be different.
Type of Hunting: Relic
Ground conditions: red nasty iron ore w/ hot rock mixture. Soil was moist.
Mode used:
1. All metal
2. Discriminate
Duration: Six Hours
Findings:
All Metal Mode:
Ground balanced with out a problem, stayed balanced even as the ground conditions changed. Hot rocks nulled in all metal, iron nails produced double "blips" . Depth was excellent. Ran the sensitivity at max, no chatter from the ground, no radio tower interference( one close by)
Rated it excellant!
Disc Mode:
Super tuned it according to the handbook.
Small iron gave no reading.
Large iron was easy to tell by its audio sound.
No ground chatter at max. sensitivity
Depth of detection outstanding in these ground conditions.
To get this depth please follow the instructions on how to Super Tune the detector. It is critical!!!
Easy to pinpoint .
Cosmetic:
Light weight, well made, no wobble, rod fit a little tight , but thats ok.
Pleasing to the eye, and all that power on one nine volt battery.
Value: Excellant
Conclusion: Warrant's further testing
