Backyard Flowers

It's been a while and I finally took a few more pictures of the Dahlias in the back yard. They're resting by our deck and then the lone little Morning Glory is in a wooden box that my Dad had built years ago for me.

I must say, while looking at them on this forum page, I'm not happy with the outcome. When looking at them in my Windows program, they are much clearer and in focus. Strange......

Thanks for looking.

The Dahlias are HUGE this year and Larry and I both have enjoyed them. Thanks for looking!

why you are disappointed in them. I think that you did an excellent job in both taking the pictures and posting them...and they are just beautiful. Please put a smile on your face, you did great. I enjoyed viewing these colorful flower pictures, thanks for sharing. Kelley (Texas) :)

It is hard to believe but true that the first two pictures are of the same plant just different times of year. The mostly yellow with orange center was one of the first blooms in maybe July and the mostly orange is what they look like now. Either way they are just gorgeous IMHO.

I think it is just her monitor Fred, they look great on my computer too. Nice pictures honey :cheekkiss:

Thank you Fred, I didn't do any editing on the photos. Maybe it is my monitor because I have noticed that many photos aren't clear as they could be.

Back at ya Larry.........:cheekkiss: Thank you both!

Hey Elton, I planted and watered them. Nancy pointed and said here, here, here and here.....

Hahahaha But that is why they grew so well Larry..She passed on her vast experience ....and you followed the directions perfectly.......

You guys are killing me......... Someone had to be in upper management. I fertilized and staked them up....does that count? Also did the "dead" heading. Yes, Larry planted them right where I wanted them. :clapping:

The blooms are so big and beautiful. Thank you for your compliments. We do good work.

Really Pretty flowers and those pictures are just fine , you did good even if Larry did mess with the watering .lol
I'll bet he doesn't know if he put the water on them right side up or upside down ...lol They look nice anyway good job..

Thank you Harold. You've always got a way of making me smile.

Might be due to the resizing for the forum page. They look fine to me, even when downsized on the page. Even better
if I click to full size. Do they look different even if you click full size? If so maybe the browser is effecting the images .. ??

NM5K, I think you're right about the downsizing of the photos for the forum. Yes, even when I click on the picture, it's just not as clear and crisp as before. Oh well, they're still beautiful to look at.
