Backyard Dahlia

We planted a few different Dahlias this Spring and here's one of our favorites. The picture was taken with my Nikon dx40. It's an older camera but I really like it.

love the colors and sharpnes.. nothing wrong with using an older camera. I still use my older Nikon thats about 8yrs old. Still puts out nice photos

is still doing a great job for you, still a keeper in my opinion. Thanks for sharing. Kelley (Texas) :)

Thank you for the compliments. We've enjoyed the different colored Dahlias this year. I have this as my screensaver and it's a lot sharper in the larger file. Yes, the old Nikon is a keeper. I had bought a Canon t3i and honestly, I liked the Nikon better so I sold my Canon. Thanks again.

Larry said the Dahlias are bigger today. I guess I better go see for myself. :wiggle:

Very nice pictures of some beautiful flowers , thanks for sharing with us . Keep them coming ...

My goodness, they have opened more. Those things are probably 8" wide. I'll try to get a few pictures today.

Thanks Harold, This is the first year we've had the Dahlias and we're so glad we did. We should have quite a few little tubers for next year's planting. The best thing is that I got them at clearance dirt cheap prices last year also. :bouncy:
