Backpacks

Has anyone found a backpack that would fit your detector without having to take it all apart? If so, what brand is it?

No but many major companies make a detector bag that will handle this with a strap to put over shoulder..Sometimes I wonder if a unit will come out the will telescope
down to small size similiar to some fishing gear for walking in to those old cellar holes and the like as the large detector bag would be a tad uncomfortable even if it would serve the purpose..

I totally agree!!! That Duex (spelling) metal detector has the perfect pole set up for that! Sometimes I ride a scooter into the woods and need a backpack that I could wear. I have the detector bags but they are still long and the straps aren't the greatest for wearing for long periods.

I was thinking of a military Alice pack perhaps.

That's a nice idea but sitting on a scooter would be difficult with that long piece hanging down. Thanks though.

Garrett has a new one out this year. It holds an MD broken down inside it and has straps to mount one outside it fully assembled. Kellyco carries it.
