Backlight creates unstable expII

While using my expII at a stable setting in either auto or manual, as soon as I press on my backlight my machine would go nuts. I then would have to up the sens +5 to +10 to level out. Any suggestions?
Or just stop when I can't see screen. <img src="/metal/html/grin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":grin">
Thanks,
Dan

mine did that a little at first, not that bad, i would noise cancel and it would stop...guyt.

Seriouly, Go by sound. You're missing coins if your relying on the screen. Going by sounds also helps alot in trash areas. The sound ID on the Explorer is much, much more accurate than the screen. HH!

Never noticed that, but if its happening it must be some kind of short in the board.. I wouldnt use it or it might short something out worse?
