Back yard finds.

Great Republic

I moved into an old house last winter but didn't get to search much because I sold my Etrac in the spring. These were found with my new Exp2.
Sterling table wear part, 1908 dog tag, 1915 Barber, 1916 wheat, 19?? wheat, nail. House was built in 1790.
Also,, I had just gotten my new Garrett Pro Pointer. Nice pinpointer!!

Very nice, G.R. :beers:

Nice finds. Should be some old stuff at that house. Congrats.

Nice hunt. Love the old DT.
I bet you cannot wait till warmer weather.
That place being built in 1790 probably cost an arm and a leg to heat doesn't it?
Can't beat having a 18th century property of your own to hunt. How many acres?

Neal,
I was just getting to know the Etrac when I sold it. It was quicker and there was more information at hand. I liked my SE maybe a bit more and that was only a bit better than the 2.
I would buy another Etrac down the road maybe but I'm sure that I can find tons of great treasure with the 2 and it is still an awesome machine and it's kind of fun to go back to the machine that I really started on. Also you can most likley get a pretty good price on a Exp2 lately which is pretty nice since you have more money to spend on other goodies!! I think that I'll pick up a pro coil for it and maybe an 8" SEF. Good luck and happy hunting my friend!!

Good stuff, G.R.:beers:

Just curious...how did you like your E-Trac while you had it?.

I still use my E quite a bit...a lot more than I do my CTX.

Hey Mike thanks!!
I'm only renting the first floor here since my divorce. It's a great place though and the heat isn't so bad. Yea this place is loaded with stuff. I'm only finding things at about 5 inches at this point. This hunt was for an hour and the ground was pretty frozen in many spots. It's a couple acres. Spring seems to far away!! Oh my!! Happy hunting my friend!!

Thanks Bryce,
I liked it. I was just getting to know it when I sold it but as with any new toy the fun is in the learning part. I'm having fun relearning the 2. It's like hanging out with an old friend!! LOL!!
Happy hunting Bryce and may winter be kind to us all!!

I like those old dog tags but hardly ever find them. I know they have become quite collectible in the last few years. Congrats

Great stuff Clyde. Should be fun to hunt out the area over the spring - looks like woods in the back?
If you need help give me a call. I'm only an hour away! lol
Keep your chin up. A divorce is what got me back into detecting after a 15 year gap. One foot in front of the other moves you foreward.
