With my main detector out of action;I had to use my back up treasure ace 300.Its been a while since I used it. Pin pointing is a little harder and it has no depth gauge;however;it right on the money for target id. It took me awhile to get use to it again; but the results were the same. See for yourself!!

Nice little pile. I field tested the 300 for Garrett many moons ago and I didn't care for the pinpointing which isn't for squat.

I went from the ace 300 to the gti 1500 and I noticed the same thing about target ID. My old 300 seems to be more acurate on ID'ing. I like the 1500 and it will continue to be my main 'tector, but I miss swingin' the old 300. I'm thinking since the 300 has less notches it doesn't separate the signals as much as the 1500 does. Probably not describing this very well. Hope you undersdtand what I'm trying to say.
