Got out for a short 35 mn hunt in the woods, Dicided not to video as its getting a bit redundant, but i found another 2520 shell & about 30 ft away i found its slug. nice to se them back together after all this time apart, also just before i left i got a nice signal and it was a deep target but had to go , it was still dining in with the disq set at pull tab, hopefully i can get back and finish digging it . probably just another round or shell casing.

Now that's just cool, very unusual to find the the slug. I think that's what makes it so much fun, never know what your going to come up with. HH.

Thats amazing! I did that on a beach once, found some fresh .40cal cartridges and down the beach 50 yards found the rounds...that one was sort of easy, you finding that in the woods when it could have been fired in a multitude of directions is cool..

You just never know what you might dig up in the woods.

That's pretty cool..better hurry and get back before the snow flies

Give it a new primer and some powder. It might fire again. Not everyday you will find a match like that... KEN

consider i am grid searching the whole woods, tree to tree and gaining a interesting perspective of where the hunter did the shooting and what they used , I plan on talking to my friends dad soon as he grew up in sibeka Mn and used and loves guns and was an avid hunter all his life and fought in WW 2 he is 92 now i have some questions to ask him about the old shot shells and guns , he should know he was an expert sniper i seen him throw pennys up in the air and and hit them every time , he has stake of Gun mags from the 50,s on up he gave me some pointers on shooting to but that last target was a really meet shot shell one that I don't remember finding before it is a U.S, No,12 climax brass base paper hull and it is before 1927 because the ones made after 1926 say made in u,s,a i can post pictures tomorrow that shows they hunted this woods during the moon shine days of the roaring 20,s and could have in theory lost a standing liberty quarter but so far that in my dreams
