Back to the woods Friday!

Friday I headed back to the wooded area where I found the 1814 Artillery Hat Plate. DARN - I forgot my small coil so I didn't really focus on looking for more fragments of the plate. Next time!
I widened my search area a bit and rechecked some of the area I hit last time. Found a couple of buttons and a slightly toasty 1818 LC. On my way out as it was getting dark I got a funky signal - turned out to be an 1883 V nickel and a hunk of lead in the same spot.

That 1818 has a clear date and looks like a full Liberty when it was dropped.
I would be going back for sure. Great job on a good hunt Bruce.
