Back To The Tree Farm

I went to the tree farm with Rosco. We didn't find any old coins. I found a penny and he found a dime. I did find a lucky charm (not to lucky for the owner:rofl:). I found 2 old shotgun shell bottoms, a what -iz-it handle and a few pieces of chert and a pre-form (the white piece).

You are absolutely correct. I was just ready to post it to the what-iz-it thread and I figured it out. I found a head to a Gem razor at the same loction about 2 weeks ago and lo and behold it fits perfectly. I found each piece about 100 feet apart. I love relic hunting.

Regarding the old 12 gauge shells, does the "1901" on the shell mean anything? I just found a couple exactly alike "1901 Repeater" at a site that yielded items from 1880 to 1920. - ziphius
