My buddy and I went back to the old park that we have been searching on and off since last fall
and the goodies are still coming up.
Today I found 13 wheat pennies dating from 1916 up through 1951, a very nice ( except for the scratch I put on it while digging OUCH!!!) 1939 merc. dime, and a 1905 IH cent.
I'm gonna keep pounding this site until the coins stop coming up, but I don't know how long that will be.
All total, I have found 80 wheat pennies at this park so far and average about 8 or 9 each hunt.
