Back to the old park... finally hit some silver!!

My buddy and I went back to the old park that has yielded plenty of wheat pennies but only one silver coin so far that my buddy found last weekend.
I finally hit a 1934 silver dime today after detecting for about 20 minutes.
I also found a 1905 IH cent which is the second one at this site.
Besides the clad, I found 7 wheat pennies dated 1909VDB,1911,1925,1942,1946,1951D, and 1952.
Also got the two silver rings pictured, the boy scout pin, and a cuff button that I could use some help IDing.
It appears to be silver plated, and has "Superior Quality" on the back.
I'm guessing is is off of a policemans uniform.
This button was about 5 inches down so I'm thinking is has some age to it.
The surprise of the day came when my buddy spotted a nickel laying on top of some soil that had been placed around a tree.
I jokingly asked him if it was a buffalo nickel and laughed and then to both of our surprise, it turned out it was a buffalo nickel!!! What are the odds???
Sometimes old coins turn up in the strangest places.
Thanks for looking and any help on the button ID,
Felix

Congrats on the nice finds Felix!

What coil were you using?

And you reburied it for him to find? lol I met a guy yesterday who was metal detecting. He left after only 45 min to an hour. I retraced his steps with my MD after he left. He had cut a plug about 8" wide, 2" deep. The reason I was checking that plug is he had dug a penny and returned it under his plug.....WHAT is that all about?

I don't have a clue as to why he dug up the penny and then reburied it... must have been disappointed it wasn't something better.

Back in the mid-80's, I was on a club hut at an old park. I watched one of the club old timers recover a relatively deep target and reach into his pocket and put something back in the hole. When I asked him what he was doing, he told me that everytime he dug an old coin at the park, he replaced it with one of the new crappy Zinc pennies. I chewed him out about doing it, because we would just have to dig it up next year, but he thought it was funny.

He's since passed away and I still hunt that park on occasion blaming every deep zinc penny on him.
