Was talkin to my wife this weekend...She said:"YA KNOW,You have come up with some good reasons NOT to get a motorcycle-but you REALLY want one,dont you?"I said yeah;I do...she said"we dont have kids to raise;and considering the prices of new vehicles;its really not that much"(around $6,000 brand new)...We're not gonna starve;and that $100.00 or so a month would probably be spent on junk food we dont need;right?AND:you would be putting less miles on your new truck by riding your motorcycle to work in the warm weather"...As for the dangers of riding a motorcycle on the road;my opinion is:Im well aware of the dangers;have been riding since I was 14 and Im 52 now-YEs;I have taken my share of spills;and YES-lost more than my share of skin
AND:YES:I know-and have known of-people that have been really injured severely motorcycle riding-and some killed-but consider this;I could give up motorcycle riding forever;and as clumsy that I am;fall off my porch and break my neck-and;I DO love the feeling of the wind in my face;and the bugs in my teeth...SO:the answer is:I will let ya know in a couple of weeks;after our contract concerns are over...
