I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! We were certainly blessed with beautiful sunny weather and mild temps, lots of delicious food and fellowship with our family! We had Easter dinner and the Easter egg hunt for the kids at Carol's parents house and it was a really enjoyable afternoon. I was getting ready to go to my parents house when...
...at about 4:00 someone yelled that Brian had hurt his leg and sure enough he was sitting on the ground holding his leg and praying out loud for the Lord to take the pain away. Off to the hospital we go! The fracture was in the same left tibia in a new location closer to his knee. We got home around 9:00 and he isn't in any pain. They put him in a splint until we can get him to the ortho for a cast. This cast will be waterproof so he'll be able to swim and take showers.
I don't know what it is about family gatherings but Christmas Eve was his last fracture and he broke his arm on Sarah's birthday during her party back in September!!
I think we'll stay home on the 4th of July!!!
