Howdy--
Kenneth and I went back to the "Coin Spill" site. I suspected that I didn't get all of the coins out of that hole. I was right. As I mentioned in my previous post, the coins were so close together, the 4x6 coil would be an effective coil choice. I removed the 5.3 and replaced it with the Shooter and it paid off. I dug 12 silver coins and 24 wheat cents in the first hour. My total for the day: 2 Buffalo nickles (Unfortunately the dates are worn off), 5 Silver Jefferson's, 5 Silver Roosevelt's, 3 mercs, 2 Silver Washington's and 40 wheat cents also dug 6 Jeffersons form 1946 -1956. Kenneth had the find of the day - a beautiful 1935 Walking Liberty Half to go with his silver quarter, silver dime and handful of wheat cents. I've been removing quite a few rusty bottle caps as well as scrap copper and brass. The next time that I hunt this site I plan to use a larger coil and look for the deeper targets. Best of Luck and...
