Last week I returned to a giant oak tree in the woods, definately the oldest tree in the woods. I began detecting around it last summer and found a silver dime but had to leave QUICKLY once I stirred up a Yellow Jacket nest.
I just knew there had to be more there. I pulled all of these out of one hole. The nickels are war nickels. This is the second dropped coin find in the last month.
