On Saturday, I went to Tyndall Park in Benton.

It rained.

Went back today and I did a quick "once over"
on tha tot lot.

Not much there. (it's Tabdog's Domain)

Then I moved down by a stream, because I think
it's been an active place with horsing around for
a century, or so.

My new digger did well, even in tha creak.

I found several coins, but none of them are old.

Found part of a real old toy gun. It says
"TEXAN JR" and I found part of an toy car.

I found what looks like an old broach and part of
an ear ring.

About 30' past that foot bridge in tha photo, I
found a pendant. I believe it's silver.

I can not figger out what it says on tha back.

Had a nice time. The parks are being active again.

It was a little cool. But it was really nice.

That was tha first time I got out in tha park area.

Think I'll be back. May even find an old coin or two.

Thanks Fer lOOkin,

Looks like your day was interesting and your finds good.

Nice finds. My guess is that your cross says MEX and 99.9 but I really cannot see anything either. Just a guess.

It is 11f here and it has been snowing softly for 12hours. Meant to snow all day and get colder, down to 0f. (Yup zero)

Got the boot yesterday. My rig has been shut down. I thought I had one more well to drill but that has gone.

It is 5 am and I thought I had slept in so I went to the window and saw three rabbits out 2 sides of the house. I had always wondered what time of day those tracks where made in the snow.

I enjoy reading your posts, it reminds me that it won't always be winter and keeps me thinking on my next hunt, when and where I don't know. I might just have to head somewhere cheap that is not frozen. I can get to places not frozen in a 12 hour drive.

HH and keep swinging.
