Back to my local "hunted out" park

Well grounds keeper Bob didn't anticipate Minelab building such a great machine. :) Today I was on the other side of the park (findmall post: tree roots make cents ) near the fishing pond. I know it isn't much BUT it does tell me there is stuff still to be found in this park even though many have written it off. The 1907 Indian Head cent was pretty deep (approx 10") ( the ground is basically all sand and very nice to dig in) and the audio was slight. Cranking up the sensitivity to about noon, I managed to get a much stronger reading of 177 (initially reading around 156) Also found a 1941 wheat and a St. Christopher "protect us" medal.

Thanks for looking. - Jim

If the ground is sandy that's good news because the Sovereign seems to get even more depth in the sand.

I was not aware of this - thanks!
