Back to my frustrating ball diamond

Two blocks from my house is what used to be a high school, then a middle school, and now is a senior center/assisted living housing. the school first opened in the 1920s and adjacent to it is a ball diamond. It has been in my mind that there HAS to be some old stuff in there, but i've been over it a half dozen times and found only clad and a few wheaties. Went back today determined to find SOMETHING worthwhile. I started just behind third base and the first signal I dug was a 1901 Indian. As I said, i've been there a half dozen times and yet, there it was. Also found a 1945 wheat and a little clad. The IH is in remarkable shape, other than a couple of small pits on both sides but hardly worn at all.
