Back to ER this morning....

...Friday night about 12:30, Brian was sleeping in the recliner and when he pushed with his legs to get on the recliner something popped in his left tibia. He hollered out for me but didn't have a tear in his eyes but he was afraid it was fractured. It was painful to touch but it wasn't red and there wasn't any swelling. So, we watched him overnight and Saturday and Carol said that even though he wouldn't put weight on the leg he did use his walker to get around and that was a good sign so she didn't take him in. This morning it was red where he said it hurt so I took him in for an x-ray. It was negative, thank the Lord, but still painful. Carol had to work this morning and I work every Sunday so a friend watched him for a couple of hours. About 1:00 he called Carol and said he hurt his ankle and thought it was broken. It doesn't show signs of swelling or redness but if he moves his leg too fast he says it pops. Looks like yet another trip to ER and we go to Nashville Wednesday to schedule his surgery. On top of all of this he has a stomach virus so I'm getting my exercises carrying him to and from the bathroom.

Sorry this is so long but I wanted to update you on the goings on down here.

But, I am thankful. When I think about what Chelsea and her family are going through I realize it could be much worse. I just pray she fully recovers. Her family has to be stressed to the max also..

Thanks and God bless,
