Brian broke his left tibia, about 3 inchs above his ankle. They put him in a waterproof cast so he can swim until his surgery in about 2 weeks. They are going to replace the rod and straighten the tibia, it is bowed so much that they can't put the new rod in without straightening it first. Sometimes I wonder...

My boss' father died today. Please keep them in your prayers.

We had 2 people leave at work, one is on suspension, our assistant manager is on vacation, and of course the manager is in Florida for his fathers funeral. It looks like I'll be working a schedule similar to Petes, without a day off until next Thursday, unless they move Brian's surgery up.

I may have found a MD'ing partner, my daughters boy friend mentioned to her that he would like to go detecting sometime. He's never been before so I look forward to introducing him to the hobby. The way things are going it may be this fall before I have the time though.

Thanks for listening and be glad I can't type or this post would be really long!:D

Doug, Will be praying for you and yours. It is the hardest thing to deal with when your kid is hurt sick. My son had to go to Anchorage for brain sugery to remove sists that were pressing on his brain and causeing vision loss headaches he is fine now but two mo. ago we were fit to be tied. Hes 14 I gess its real rare in kids to get this. My daughter broke her leg in three places sliping on the ice she healed fine. Praying for you. Dident the boss say say " Suffer not the little children as the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as them."

Hope Brian heals OK and congrats on the MD partner. It will work out in time! God Bless!
