For the second day in a row, we've officially had temps down to a minus 25 F. And that is not counting the windchill. :help: -25 was the actual temperature here at the local weather station. :stretcher: Calling for another blizzard tonight, tomorrow and tomorrow night. Temps not suppose to get above zero until Sunday. Not as much snow in this one, with only another 5 - 7 inches predicted. But on top of the 30+ inches we've gotten the past few weeks, I'm ready to ......:surrender: Did I mention I hate winter? For all you guys in the "sunbelt" that are undergoing abnormal conditions, know that it could be worse. :goodnight: HH Randy

The same with us, very bitter here cold too. I DO hate winter also. Yes the Eastern "sunbelt" is cold BUT the Western "sunbelt" IS beautiful and warm now. We should be in Phoenix, Arizona where it is 72'F now and 45'F at night, on Jan. 5.

Tucson, Arizona is 71'F now and a high tomorrow of 73'F, sunny both days.

San Diego, California is 71'F today and 50'F at night.

I wish I lived in San Diego, California.

ya know, winter never really bothered me too much before, but this ONE is really starting to get my craw...................I hate below zero temps and right now spring looks a longggggggggggg ways off!!!

Hang in there, we'll be digging in the dirt before you know it.........................!!!

Been in the twentys during the day here and teens at night.

Let me put it this way....This morning I let my beagle out of the house to take care of business. He went out to the large maple tree in the back yard and he raised his leg. Three or four minutes he was howling. I went to check on him and he was stuck to the tree. Well...what to do. I went in the house and came out with an ice pick to see if I could perform a separation. That dog took one look at me and the ice pick and I got a ...........Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrolw !!!!! Guess he will stay there until spring.

Well it ant that bad but I agree with Randy....I HATE WINTER.

OUCH, that is bone chilling cold, I could not live there, I am cold and complaining when it is 20 degrees here!!!!

Hey Randy, come on over to my side of the state, we have a heat wave going on over here. It got to 13 above today, yahoo. I think their talking about it getting up in to the upper teens tomorrow before the snow storm hits and then it's suppost to go back in to the deep freeze after that.

Back in the 1960' and early 70's, we had some cold winters in Kansas, but in recent years it had gotten pretty mild compared to the past. To show how long it has been since we had a real winter,
the Wichita stations predict a high temp of about 8 on Thursday and said that it has been about 19 or 20 years (1991) since we've had a day when the high temp for the day was in the single digits.

Is all that global warming getting you fellers down? We've even been cold HERE in Texas! We have a cold front coming through today and they say tomorrows high will be in the 20's! Not what some of y'all have to deal with but pretty dang cold for US! I'll probably just focus on my typical cold weather activities for a bit longer. There are pigs and predators out there wreaking their normal havoc...have gun will travel, detector goes too though JUST in case!

Pyle driver ,still plan on getting together been very busy with interviews and have a new Grand Baby coming any day, may have to run to Houston.

Randy you have my sympathy; i feel like i am having a heat wave here in south west lower Michigan it's 32.7* a heat wave even with the lake effect snow we have been having. But i see by the weather that you are having, and that you are sending my way luckily it has to go across Lake Michigan and it is not frozen over so it will keep us warmer until the lake freezes over then our weather will get worse.

TomB. ??? Man's best friend ???? an ice pick??, LOL Tom wait until your water freezes and your beagle brings you an AXE ! LOL.

Well it was -33 here the other day and I had to go out and snowblow the driveway this morning. The windchill was -35 this morning and I still feel
cold 12 hours later! I cant wait to get back out and do some dirt fishing in say 120 -140 days. Only way to keep my sanity!!!!!!!!!

It has been absolutely beautiful, with gorgeous warm and sunny weather in this part of the USA over the last 3 weeks or so, and still is:
