Back to Back Gold and Platinum Finds

Treasure Mike

New member
Friday went to a High School baseball field and searched behind the backstop. I got a loud hit on the MXT with the Bigfoot coil. VDI reading of 26-28. Barely hidden in the grass was this 14K white gold size 11 ring. Weighs in at 10.2 grams. This morning I was searching a play area and I got a 22-24 hit on the MXT. Under the toddler swing seat in the wood chips was this silver colored ring. Once I picked it up I knew it was platinum because of it's weight. It is a size 8 1/2 and smaller than the gold ring I had found the day before but it weighs over 10 % more at 11.6 grams. That 950 platinum is some heavy stuff. Thanks for looking. Mike

Wow, very nice finds. At nearly twice the price of gold, that platinum ring ka-chings at about $480 ! (at pure platinum spot price)

Also, everyone should take notice that if you don't dig some pull tab signals that you will miss some gold and platinum.
