Back to an Old House.........

Old Katz

New member
I went back to an old house I discovered last year. It was built in the 1860's.The owner
a fifth generation family member said I could detect it
but it was to late in the winter and dang cold. Today I tried it but the ground there was frozed solid, but
here in Indianapolis it was thawed. We're expecting temps in the 50's during the coming week so
that oought to make for a good MD outing. All I could find tis time were a few Wheaties until
I just gave in and drove home. Just to hard to dig in frozen ground.

Good luck Katz, that looks like a good place.

Nice tenacity Old Katz. I don't think I'd have it in me to dig solid ground at all. Veerrry glad I don't have to. Least you got out to hunt. Great pics, hope you clean up when you get back out and post your finds.

Good going Katz. Too bad that big old pine tree is standing to the right of the house now. Sure looks like a great spot to detect. Good luck and let's pray for a fast thaw! Nancy

Looks like a great spot, let us know how you do when you go back. GL!
