I'll be back out there at 7am ish tomorrow. Forcast is calling for scattered storms but that wont stop me. Let me know if you want to meet up.

I think I would like to give it another try in the morning but 7 AM is pretty darned early for an old man. I will have to look you up when I get there.

Are you providing breakfast? Getting up. eating and travel to be there at 7am...ouch. I might try to make it. Went out today and rescued a Roosy 46-dime, 39-wheat, marble, hat buckel and two shovels laying on the blanket I recovered yesterday. I think the shovels are from a fire brigade after lightening strikes.

I saw that blanket earlier in the week but I wasn't going to touch it. :biggrin: There are a lot of socks and underwear out there too Steve...........:poke: :rofl:

Yeah ask Andrew what he saw out there. It involves the oldest profession in the United States.

Andrew...............I never knew! :rofl::yikes::surprised::devil::shocked::rofl:

I was going to go up behind the botanical gardens and work my way back but i changed directions very fast.

Well aware of the blanket, Many many hours went into knitting it. Nothing a good dry cleaning can't solve. Probably some grandma spent a year making this and the idiot kid had no appreciation for all the hard work that went into it. My grandma used to make things for us, the few items I have I cherish.

My mom makes those and I bet I have 10 of them. She crochets them also as that one is. I have my favorites. You should see the king bedspreads she has crocheted with thread. Now that's a sight too! :thumbup:

I found a 1905 indian before the rain hit. Thanks to steve and larry for coming out. Im going to wait an hour and see what the rain does before i decide to call it a day.

The radar looks like it is just about over until late afternoon so that might be a good call Andrew. Just cleaned up my finds and the nickel turned out to be a silver 43-P and the wheat was a 1940. The rest of the finds was a toy truck and some clad.

Best I got is a Kennedy Bicentennial Half Dollar.

I went back out when it quit raining for about 30 minutes. I found a 1930's Green River Whiskey good luck token. Then I hit a beehive in the ground and got stung twice so I decided I had enough for the day. Obviously that good luck token was in the ground for a reason. It sucks! It's going into the Christmas Tin :devil:
