Back on the Mountain Top

Went back up to the Mountain Top to finish the small field there...Someone has hunted this field in the past 5 years besides me...I could tell this because they took most of the quarters and dimes and DISCed out the nickles and pennies (which I found)/
My take for 2 hours time...Not shown is the 3 lbs of can slaw I dug trying for gold in the 40-50 VDI range...I knew most of it was junk, but what the heck...I will not have to hit on it next year...
The tag is from a key fob or gym bag tag from our local Solvay High School...GO Bearcats!!!

HH,

Seems like of the parks and schools I go to have been cherry picked for quarters and silver. That's OK by me because gold is being overlooked and I'll take that instead any day. See my most recent post, 11/13/11. I found three clad quarters, two were deep and one was shallow but sitting on top of an iron spike, otherwise they probably would have been cherry picked. I dug lots of can slaw and pull tabs, but also the 14K gold and diamond engagement ring shown. So, keep digging those 40s and 50s signals - it will pay off in gold sooner or later. Best of luck!

They say don't go on Wolverton Mountain.....:help: me GO-GO
