[/img] Got out to the midway for 6 hours today lots of clad almost 5 dollars worth. Found a sterling clasp but could not find the rest of it , old play gun barrel anybody know how old it is , also a lead train .3 mercs 1918 1926 1936 , one rosey 1959 , 2 buffs 1916 and a 1920 . 1 v nickel 1902 , 1899 Indian , and 10 wheats 1914 to 1944 . The v nickel came in at a 12.13 rock solid 2 inches deep go figure. The 1916 buff was 5 inches deep had a nail and a bottle cap with it still id as 12.13 , very corroded. Dug a leaf spring from a trailer about 2 feet long to get rid of it , found a 1936 merc and wheat by it. I always dig big boomers to see if anything is by them and this one payed off. The little lead train was 10 inches deep came in at 12.05 though I might have a ring so I dug it. Anyhow nice day today hope you got out. .sube

Nice finds, sube!

Beautiful weather today, but never left the house - getting ready to head into Cheyenne for a few day, get a mountain fix, and hunt the various in-laws yards.

If I had a honey hole like that 'midway' I would be camping there, hunting 24/7! When you decide you need help, this old man from Houston will get there! lol

That's a whole lot of diggin and a bunch of nice finds. Good for you

Wow still killin it!o

Wow! You've taken more money out of that spot than the James gang did most banks! Congrats again on yet another successful outing. HH Randy
