It's been too hot and dry to go out. Lot of the US is like that this July, I reckon. Anyway I got out for the first time in 2 weeks this morning and found this lot:

The only real keeper for the day was a nifty surprise:

Back near 100 again right now and I'm exhausted. Stay cool guys!!!!!

Chris

2 weeks is a long time to be stuck inside glad you got out nice finds stay cool and have a beer or 2 :beers: or some good old water

Nice finds Chris. It has been hot and dry here in Iowa also. I went and bought me an AT Pro. Got it Friday. I posted my finds I got this morning on the AT Pro forum. First I been out for a week myself. All those coins where found 2 inches or less. I got alot of good deeper signals but the ground is just to hard and dry to dig them. I will wait for the ground to get soaked up this fall and recheck the area again.

I know how you feel as well. Over here it has been 100 for the last 2 days and the ground has been rock solid since mid June. Probably won't be able to dig in the dirt until the rains come in early Oct. Totlots here I come!!!

HH everyone

I wish we had your heat here in southern California. I'm mostly a beach hunter, but last year was a much cooler than normal summer, and so far this summer hasn't been hot, in fact it rained on me about 5:00am this morning while I was detecting the low tide line. We need hot weather to get people to the beach.

Nice hunt!:detecting:Good clad haul!:clapping:Congrats on the silver!:beers:Happy Hunting!:)
