Haven't been out for a few weeks, among other things, was knocking down this place, which took longer than expected - partly due to recycling laws requiring all the materials to be separated before disposal e.g. wood, plastic, metal, glass......
Took an Ace 150 with me but never even got a chance to use it. Was well aware of nails and other metal falling to the ground though, and tried to avoid it as much as possible, something a non-detectorist wouldn't probably think about.
Hope to hunt there in the future, like much of Japan, that area does have a lot of history too.
Aiming to import a New Zealand made kitset house and build it there....
Needed a break from the computer today, so went out for an hour with the Ace 150 at a beach close by, been open to the public about 1.5 years.
63 yen in coins
Three sinkers.
A van without wheels (and fishing tackle below that)
Back to the usual beach this coming weekend for a longer hunt, looking forward to that. Air temperatures are dropping gradually so very comfortable, still mosquitos around though so I'll leave some prospective land hunt locations a bit longer and stick to the beach as much as possible.
Still no direct hit typhoons, which is surprising as we head into October, but I see another one on the way to Taiwan again. Usually they don't go that far west and Japan gets most of them.
