Back In the Mid 70's No bad detectors just operator's Indy ?------- what ever happen to that guy?

This guy wrote a metal detecting handbook in the 70's his theme was a good operator can have good finds with any detector.Most of us would disagree with his theory,but it is interesting.Don't know the guys last name I actually bought one of his books. HH Ron
