Back in the gold fields..

Hi all. It's been awhile. I haven't been using my MD's much other than to check my tailing pile on my sluice's. I just bought a new sluice and have finished running some material through it. It's a G1 and I really like it. I put a link to a video of it working too (sorry, just a setup vid, the video of it running is to long and I have to edit it for sure). There's also a shot of it and some of the gold it's recovered. It will get the fine stuff. The bottom vial is a five bucket run from the center of our main placer ditch... it's a really productive spot. The upper vial is a run of twelve buckets of top soil that we ran to see if we were interested in keeping it or shoveling it to the side. I think we will keep it. This sluice use's 35 to 40 gallons per minute of water and you can just dump material into it all day... I have two dredges, a couple of sluices, and two other highbankers. This one is the clear winner. Anyway. I really just wanted to say hi all and wish everyone a good day... Tortoise PS> check out how fast this thing cleans up.. I was worried that without carpet and/or miners moss I'd loose gold...no way. It's design is totally awesome. Also, the video is raw and still needs editing. I just included it as a lot of people have been asking how the G1 works..
