I have not been able to hunt for 22 months. Due to an illness. I am now hunting a little, about 45 minutes to an hour is all i can do. I have a Silver Umax and am having a blast. Nothing but clad and one putt-putt token so far, but hey I am hunting! Beale.

That's great to hear you are getting out again!! Wishing you good health and lots of happy hunting!!

Have really missed your posts! Glad to see ya' back. Yeah, that Silver's nice-put a 5.75" coil on mine for a few days and it was kinda like swinging the shaft it was so lite. Weather's getting nicer. During the summer I had a little trick I used. Would keep records on sites that had trees and hunt them either in the a.m. or p.m. whenever the sun was blocked out by the trees.Would start from the farthest point where the shade reached and work backwards where the shade would leave last. And others thought I was out there sweating my tail off.

Hi Beal, Great you are getting back to digging again! Best wishes for your continued recoup and that you will strengthen with every dig. HH, Charlie

Very nice to hear your on the road to recovery .........

WOW! 22 MONTHS!
I took 3 weeks off due to a digging induced hand injury and it felt like I broke up with a girlfriend in high school.
Happy detecting and good health to you!
