I've been searching all the brush filled areas I couldn't get a coil into a month ago. Nothing. As I was doing this I was thinking of the main field that I found most of the coins. I remember finding nothing but a couple of buttons in the back half of the field (5 - 7 acres). I also remember that while I was doing the back half of this field, I was thinking of the two other fields I hadn't touched yet. So with that thought and lack of finds, I'm sure I picked up speed.
So I went back to that section of field yesterday with a more thorough attitude. I found some junk metal right away, a button, an old thimble (circa 1800?...everything else there is) and an 1803 LC. My first coin there in three trips. It's amazing what you miss when your mentally detecting somewhere else. Will finish it today......................Thanks Rich
