Back from ST MAARTEN

Back from my first trip at ST MAARTEN island,the weather was very nice,but the water water was
kind off ruff for metal detecting,i try a few beaches (i was surprise by the trash at Great Bay beach,
the last day off my trip i found some quiet water and found 2 ring and something that made my trip a dream,
i got lucky to found a nail with wood on it from the HMS Proselyte build in 1770 that sunk in 1801 close to the island.

Was found not far from the that shipwreck .

I'm glad you had a good time! I did warn you about the rough surf there. How many hours of detecting did you manage to get in? Very nice finds there too congrats!

I did around 16 hours.
