Back from spain

hi folks

got back from a week in spain today not bad for finds

found 12 gold pieces 25 silver pieces 321 in euro's ($435.00)

take a look at the pictures i have taken ( Sorry about the quality )

Took them on my moblie phone

in spain this time of the year the beach's are very busy

can only detect 3 hrs in the morning and 2 hrs at night after 6

waiting for the beach's to fill up again then back again in 3 week
The total amount for the 5 of us this week was 47 gold pieces, 95 silver pieces and about 1500 euro ($2035) Sometimes you can get 3 or 4 coins in one scoop full. The record for this week was 13 coins in one scoop. ( i had 9)

Picture 2 is the amount of Euro's found in one day

Picture 3 is of another beach (Where we stay there are 4 beachs within walking distance)

Picture 4 is of a 22g 18ct gold band with a third of a ct diamond in a
platinum mount

Picture 5 is a collection of the gold and silver in 1 week

Picture 6 is a 18g pendent made in 18ct gold

You have not mentioned that there's not the competition in Spain anymore as the use of metal detectors is illegal without an inport license (which is rarely granted).
There is a specific anti metal detecting law, a Royal Decree of 1986 and regulations as the Spanish Naval Authorities consider that metal detectors interfer with their communications.
Many risk detecting but a percentage end up arrested and all detecting equipment is confiscated and the user picks up a large fine.
