But I never use them while water detecting. I can hunt up to my neck and scoop at my feet and still not get my face wet.

The good news is that your detector works great, so PTL, for that is what you hoped for and it did what you wanted it to do! NOT LEAK....so blessed you are! Hope you both enjoyed your vacation!
