LOL I took these pics in my luxurious motel suite. My brother with his F75 did well. The Sovereign found more silver dimes than anyone I talked to at the hunt HH Ron

Excellent! I don't think the Sovereign is the best machine to use at a seeded hunt because you obviously can't swing it fast like some other machines. Well, you can, but it will not be performing at it's best or getting as deep as it could. Did you throw it into silent search, as Minelab says you can pick up the sweep speed by doing that I think.

Critter, ran a little threshold, any change in tone I would sweep around and bingo a target. You can sweep quick with the small Tornado coil and if you got a null or target its very easy to do a quick check. My brother at the comp hunt will keep his F75,but is looking for a used Sovereign. Thanks Ron

That's a good point, Ron...that by using the threshold you can noticed any change in it if you just glance a target or go over it too fast to really get a good hit, yet the threshold changes to tell you to re-check the spot. Good counter point to running Silent Search, even if Minelab says you can sweep a bit faster in Silent Search...As I guess you could sweep just as fast and just pay attention to the threshold thing without using Silent.

Ran, some of the dimes 6-7 inches, the Kennedy fifty cents pieces right on top of the ground. Thanks Ron

WOW! Ron I guess you showed them a thing or too with the gt,may be slow but not out of the game. I can't wait to get the meter.HH Rick

and you are a True master.

Hi Ho Silver! Wow Ron you made the ground bleed lol Nice job on the highest silver count. - Jim

Gary, had a lot of fun.My brother had a Civil War site lined up on his son in laws 300 acre farm that was a bust for all but interesting.Ticks were bad and wore gators for the copperheads. Thanks Ron

Jim,the Sovereign worked great but a remote pin point or all metal switch will be on the handle next time. Thanks Ron
