Headed for hawaii- for a couple of weeks for some serious needed time off. I have several underwater detectors- one of my favorites is my garrett infinium- have all the loops- but space is getting a little tight-in my carry-ons-its bleeding over into the wife's, the 4 controls boxs-one set of unverisal rods (my own design), loops, laptop and camera gear + some extras. Rods, scoops, and extra battery holders will go in an extra bag with dive equipment and other toys. This time I'm going to take underwater case for a canon s-70, planning on taking some underwater shots of the finds as I expose them. (positive thinking) I was curious as to which loop folks having been using in salt water hunting in regards to momo or LS and what size. Here in the local lakes I like the 6" loop because of the multi targets and the small elipal loop. I'm taking what I can, in the my carry-on as primary equipment-getoff the plane, hit the beach a running- turn the wife loose with a book and shade tree. If I have to put something in the suit cases them it'll be the backups. The TSA issue of locking bags- if your now aware of the rules-go to the TSA website. I have locks on my check-in bags-locks are referenced in their site at TSA.gov, so far no problems and I do a lot of traveling in my job. I have to qualify that with all my camera gear and my computer gear go into a porter-case/wheels, which I carry onboard-stuffs in the overhead or under the seat, best $200 I ever spent, expensive, but I can pack a nikon D70 digital-2 lens, HP laptop and extra cloths in it plus my meds and toiletry articles. knifes, and other restricted items I put in my checked bags- as for razors- buy a disposalbles where ever you go and most hotels give away a compo packs, I learned.
