And what up with those 5 cent canadian coins? My daughter brought home 2 from her work's coinstar machine. One is a 1950 george, and the other is a 1962 liz. I air tested them on my 250 and was surprised they read in the penny dime range. But only if it was dead center under the coil. Otherwise it was all over the scale like a piece of thrash. What are these things made of?
Oh! And the older one is a tad thicker to. Because it's a male perhaps?
 
Our nickels usually read in the coin range or nickel range. You just never know what year though. They are quite confusing. Here is the link:
