I see some people on here knows locks. One is a acme 6 lever lock and other is M.W.&CO. would love to know the approx. ages of these. 6 Lever was found near old park dating from 1890's close to the old bear cave they had there. The other was found near an old mills community dating early 1800's along with the ax which looks diff. from any other ax I have found...tip looks to be broken off.

The M. W. & Co. lock was made by Mallory, Wheeler & Co. of New Haven, CT, at one time the largest lock mfgr. in the U.S. It's probably around 110-120 years old; the earliest possible date for it would be 1865. This type is called a "smokehouse lock."
The Acme 6-Lever lock was made by the Eagle Lock Co. of Terryville, CT. It could be a little over 100 years old, but Eagle made similar six and eight lever locks at least as late as the 1930's.
Best of luck,
Buckram

The axe head is a broad axe with most of the blade broken off.
