... the frequency switch on my Vaq. wont switch to 1. It still switches from 2 too 3 . I wanted to try tuning it in 2 then searching in 1 like one of you guys have been experimenting with. Im not sending it in for repairs now. Ill wait till this winter when the ground freezes.

I havent been posting many good finds lately because the areas I hunted is now a jungle of poison ivy and other greenery. The ground is hard and the sun is hot.I can only hunt for about an hour or two as I am not in the best of health. Ill keep swinging , I have permission to hunt a new area that should be loaded with trash but also have some old coins hiding there. Several old houses and camps along a river use to be there but are now gone. But get this, the owner keeps it mowed. Im hoping to be posting treasure again soon.

I feel your pain, a friend took me to a great sight once, he found buttons, and found a buckle on that site also, CIVIL WAR Wreath. i found $300 worth of doctor bills from poison ivy, chiggars (Red bugs), ticks, briar cuts and lost a muff off my earphones, and broke a shovel handle. probabaly my most memerobile 100 degree weather trip:nopity::detecting: i think i must have been off frequency a little. :crylol:
