Awesome Macro Camera

Hello all!

I purchased a new Nikon Coolpix L19 from new egg and it arrived yesterday.. I choose that model as my daughter has a Coolpix L10 that I had been using and I know the camera and the marcro cability was good enough for the stuff I do and post...

Boy-oh-boy was I suprised...

I grabbed the Large Cent I found recently, held it in my hands and: (1200 Wide)

(1000 Wide)

That is 33% of the original size... It's $107.95... great features... nice big screen 3.6X Optical zoom... No I don't work for them... but for what we do in the field and at home... its a great choice

That's very good. I have the Pentax Optio A40 with super macro and it's not quite as good as the picture you took. I have to hold a magnifying glass on the front of my lens to get that good. What's the 1000 and 1200 figures? How close were you to the coin?

1000 - 1200 are the pixel width... 2 inches away...

very nice. I think it would be a bit clearer if you shrunk it a bit more, maybe 25% instead of 33%
nevertheless it takes great shots!
