today my buddy Denny (kozyman) took me to an 1879 farm house and it produced quite well! one of my best days detecting ever. I found

1952 silver dime
1934 silver quarter
1944 silver quarter
1883 Indian penny
14 assorted wheats 1916-1951
Old dutch Beer watch Fob
Misc relics........

Denny found a key date barber dime is really good shape, lots of details, wheats, buffalo, relics etc......

we got rained out right after lunch and cannot go back till next monday because of denny's schedule, man I can't wait to get back here, we only dug 2 modern coins, everything else was old, Super farm house. All the coins were 5" or LESS deep.

Congrats on all the silver and wheats! The IH is nice also. My favorite fid though is the beer item!! Very cool and unique, Beale.

WOW, you guy's got yourself a great spot there.

Congrats G4e on hitting your silver goal. I can't believe how nice of shape that watch FOB is in, Sweeeeet find

I can't wait to go back next week, it is a dream to find a yard where every single coin is old, we each dug one modern coin and I think mine was a 1968 dime....lol so that is not too modern 41 years old. Guy who lives there is about 80 years old and has had no kids there for 60 years, so that explains why the lack of modern coins, the house has been in his family since day one.

Very good spot indeed!!
Nice assortment of finds too.
Keep us posted on next hunt results... you may even get some older coins than you did this time.
Good luck,
Felix

That is one super watch fob. It is great when you can find a spot like that and the trash was probably at a minimum. All you other finds were great also. I love IH's , I wish there were more of them up here in Canada. Great hunt. HH.

Awesome hunt Terry. If I find a wheatie or Indian here in North Carolina they are so corroded you can hardly make out that it has a date on it. Our dirt eats them coppers.

That sure is a fact! My wheats are very hard to read, Beale.
