Hello guys, il m detecting 90% at the beach because i like to have a chance to increase my results..
sometimes i use the pan for the rivers but nothing heavy (little one with quartz in the picture )
BUT recently i sold a old little church i haved re build, i go the to notary take my money, day after i buy my new machine......the buyers want a piece of water in the garden so i come with my mini digger and dig it ...in the middle of afternoon impossible to dig, hard , very hard rocks every where impossible to continue the "natural swimming pool "will be not so big (at the finisch something like 50 metersx20 meters )
after i decided to , many signals in the stones (blue stone very, very hard ) i use the detector and found the big one (189 g thanks for the conversion...) she was like rusty...at the moment i don t want to keep it but ....will see later.
One hour later another one , 25 g, rusty to...a few coins 1600/1700 a lot around here ,i go back to my home and clean what i founed.
The "big one" was very heavy maybe a beautiful old iron or heavier metal so i decided to put in a hot water , with a metallic brusch i clean it and.....no possible...
weeks after i go to a minerals meeting and show this to a professor ..AWESOME ! he never see something at this size in france , today that s the biggets one from start of 1900s....because she have the stones (dolerite and litlle, but very little quartz inside ) every where around the gold, that s the first founed like this ! some have founed (58 g ) but nobody know if she s realy natural, or hand made by the primitiv people....my is 100%natural !
I go back to this land, not my propriety now but the new one are ok for i come when i want...sounds every where but impossible to make a hole , i tryed but when i dig i break the gold and can have juste a fragments...
If some people can speak with me around this, helping me for find the rest, you welcome! the analys come from CNRS and the %of pure gold is interessant , isn t it ? they never see de same , in france.
Last picture from the fragments....because not easy to have big blocs, when i dig always breaking, the two biggest one was on the rocks but easy to take (a few are staying in the stones but...) and old "gauloise "coins founed around+a 8 g nuggets, last one founed
I hope you like !
