Awesome evening of Hunting...

Tonight after work, I stopped by an old home site that I have permission to hunt. I have been there before looking for old coins and Civil War Relics. To date, I have found 6 old coins plus tonight I found a silver quarter. However as happy as I was, I couldn't believe my next find!!! My first, probably my last!!

Very cool! It looks very similar to one I found a couple of years ago. . It dated to the early 19th century

Thanks GK, I have tried to research and get a name / maker of the gun. I have found one exactly like it on the internet but it does not give a name and it was made in the early 1800's (to your point).

The barrel looks sorta like this gun. Hope you find exact match, what a great find.
