Awesome Day For Me!!!

What a Day!!!!! :bouncy:

As some of you already know from my previous post I will be leaving tomorrow for a couple of weeks for work. Well I took today off before I leave to do a little hunting and spend some time with the kids before I leave. I left the house about 11 am and got about 2.5 hrs in hunting. Below is a couple pics of my silver for the day. I was so excited when I pulled them from the ground!!! They were both about 5 to 6 inches deep. My F4 hard a faint signal on both but still sniffed them out for me. And when I got home my Etrac was sitting on the front steps. Now I don't want to go to TX!!! I want to stay and play!! :detecting: :bouncy:

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats on the super sweet silvers. A banner day for sure.

Congratulations Jeff, two VERY nice finds.

Any suggestions on how to clean the seated? or just leave it alone? Its has some kind of film on it that soap and a tooth brush wont take off. It feels like I could scrape it off with my finger nail but I'm to scared to touch it. Any kinda of soaking solutions?

Some people will soak it in Ketchup or heated hydrogen peroxide or even silver cleaner but that is considered cleaning and will hurt the value if you ever wanted to sell it. If it is a plain 42 it is worth $16 and if it is a 42 -O, $32. I leave mine au-natural but it you want it shinny it is not going to hurt the value that much. I say, it's yours, do what you want with it.

If it is an oil based materal you could try finger nail polish remover. I have used it before without any problems. Like Larry said, It's your's.

Now look at all the area you will need to search again due to the new detector. I'm sure smeone would love to help you out... Good hunting.

I would love to hunt with anyone of you. When I get back from TX maybe 2 or 3 of us can get together for a hunt. I would love to see what an experienced operator could do with some of the places I have tromped over.

Put me down for one of them hunts Jeff.

Oh how I envy you guy's. :bouncy:

Jeff, Now that's an eye opener! Both dimes are very nice. BIG congrats on the seated. Is this your first seated? Have a safe trip to TX and we'll see you when you get back. HH, Nancy

If you need any help with the E-trac settings send me a message and I'll help you put together a decent program to use.
