Need help on what this is for, medal, ribbon or award? Found on old farm in Fremont, CA. Found 4 ins. deep. Looks like it may have had a run-in with a plow the way it's bent up. The bear is at the top (curled over part) which has two eyelets so it was attached to something else. Below that some letters (AMEN,Mean,Name) not sure what order? Below that a Lamp of Knowledge surrounded by pages of paper. At the bottom the date July 11-14 1899. I can't make out the MFG on the back. Any help would be nice, Thanks!
