By the way whats the best way to clean this stuff????????

Awesome Digs! don't give up on that site! dug all that even with the nasty painful looking blisters, YOU'RE A TROOPER!!.

Hi aintright1:

WOW!!! What a haul!!!...You definitely have a honey hole there at that drive in... :please: The best way to clean rings and ear rings...I would personally take them to a jewelry store, and have them ultrasonically cleaned...Especially the Diamond one. Looks like about a 1/2 to 3/4 Karat from the photo...Also have them check the diamonds for flaws...most will do this for free...Some charge a small fee...The Army ring is most likely just nickel plated if it came out that black...

Don't get me wrong I'm still sad I got this thing to find silver coins and have only found 1 silver 1961 dime like I said don't get me wrong I'm not complaining I like the gold too just thought it would be easier to find silver coins.

one suggestion...make sure your camera is in close up mode, and your flash is off when shooting finds pictures...
otherwise, a VERY NICE haul...Puts most of my hunts to shame...

Yes The blisters heres a new one what am I doing wrong besides using a nylon digger that broke on me so now its a metal one guess I get so excited To dig I push to hard.

I would say, use a small garden spade...might have to take it to the local Garage and have them sharpen the point a bit for ya though...I use a LESCHE tool, and I have never gotten blisters from it...Even when I was digging frozen ground...My palm gets sore sometimes, but no blisters....Gloves are a must...saves ya from razor blades, glass, tin can lids too...And keeps your fingernails clean...

You are very lucky-stay with that site. I've put in 40-50 hours in the past few weeks and have not found hardly a thing. Just 2 wheat pennies-(1937 and 1944), and about $10.00 in clad. No jewelry or silver!

hi aintright, that's some awesome finds you have found. congrats! we just love to see stuff like that. beginner's luck does exist, but i'm thinking there is some skill involved here. irregardless of the blisters, i can easily see you are hunting like an old pro...patient, slow swinging, and methodical. the caliber of your finds, the place you chose to go, and the amount found, all testify to this. what machine and settings are you using? again, congratulations! hh,

Way to Go aintright1, looks like you've got the QD11/Pioneer202 set just right. It's a great machine that will help you uncover all sorts of good stuff. We've all had sore hands, knees and muscles...but it's worth it! Keep hitting that spot hard, there's still lots of good stuff there to find. Enjoy the Hunt!
